A Realistic Approach To Stress Management

When looking for a new approach to Stress Management Maxim magazine sought out the innovative views of Dr. Gary, who along with Dr. Susan has been teaching Stress Management skills for over two decades.

From the early days in the late 1970's they have worked in hospital, corporate, and government settings teaching stress management to thousands of people from all walks of life.

As we are all aware, stress comes in many forms and from many areas in our lives. Typical sources of stress may be work, home, family, relationships, illness, injury, trauma... Regardless of where stress originates it can have the same harmful effects on our physical and emotional health. The body does not care if the stress originates from home or office, as the effects on the body are the same.



Innovative Strategies

At Online Life Coach we have developed realistic and proven techniques that practically anyone can start using immediately to begin using stress to their advantage and taming the "Beast". For example, we have refined relaxation training from the usual cumbersome 30 minutes in a dark room lying on a couch to a simple 5 minute technique you can use almost anywhere.

Our approach to Stress Management is based on the philosophy that stress is unavoidable and that all stress is not created equal.

Many people discover through our coaching that much of their stress is self-imposed and can be changed. Our goal is to help clients eliminate unnecessary stress and to develop good coping strategies and a good mental attitude toward unavoidable stressors.

There is no shortage of self-help books on stress management and most offer helpful advice. Such a cookie cutter approach to stress management cannot take into account Your Individual Situation.
